The wait for Wales!

I received my acceptance letter to Swansea University last week! Making everything official! YES! And, I've been receiving emails about housing, and little misc. things before I arrive, making me so much more anxious to go! In the meantime..I have to work, so I don't become some poor homeless American living in a gutter in London or Paris, and packing. How the hell I'm going to fit four months worth of clothing into ONE suitcase  (and a carry-on), well, that's going to be a challenge. Thank god my friend Kate (check out her awesome blog http://livingdownunderandover.blogspot.com/) told me about SPACE BAGS. You know, those bags that save a ton of room for you? Thank you Kate, you travel goddess. Now I can take all my sweaters and clothes with me, with plenty of room to buy more things! One delima down, many more to come. Later!

Well, Im Nick. I'm a junior at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in Public History (museum work), and I currently am a Barista at the local Starbucks. It's always been my dream to travel throughout the United Kingdom, so when the oppertunity to live-for a semester- in Wales, I pounced on it. Living in Wales...and weekend travels to the nearby Ireland, Scotland, and England. With France and Germany thrown in. Stay tuned!
