Greetings pals and gals.
Ok. I'm just going to go straight to the main reason why most of you are reading this blog post: the title. Kate Middleton/Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge/Possible BFF? Let me give you a little background on this post. As most of you know (well, my Swansea loves and close knit community) I have been known to have reoccuring dreams, in which I am best friends with Kate Middleton. In these dreams, we go shopping, out to tea, admire the royal jewellery collection-you know, the usual things one does and any non-particular day. Usually these dreams happen once a month, and have something to do with what's going on in my day. Well, this past week, Cristen and I were shopping and I once again decided that I needed orange jeans in my life. Back in October, I found a pair that I liked while shopping with Bianca, but I never bought them. Since then I have been wanting them. At any rate, Cristen thinks I need these jeans, because they look awesome, and quite frankly, I'm a bit obsessed with colored jeans. Freddie has green, Tom has red (or rust, not sure) and I have white. But white is not really a color, and if I'm to look British, orange jeans are clearly the answer. Anyways, last night I had another Kate dream. In this dream, she, Cristen and I were shopping at ZARA's (High Street Fashion) and Kate told me that I needed orange jeans in my life. Clearly, this is a sign from the gods that I need orange jeans. Afterwards we had afternoon tea and sang along to the song "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMzN9sIFI9g. Kate telling me that I need orange jeans is really just a sign that we are secretly friends. We both live in Wales, both have a soft spot for Wills, and we both like the store ZARA. I mean really, is it to much to ask that we bond instantly while singing "American Boy", drinking English Breakfast, whilst we are sightseeing in the UK? I don't think so.
I should end this here, since I'm sure she has her people reading this and I'm being blacklisted by the Royal family. ( on that note, I would never stalk. That is far below me, so no worries. )
Back to reality.
I have become obsessed with Downton Abbey. Obsessed. I may have watched the first two series in four days, but who's counting. Probably my favorite tv show, besides the legendary Mad Med. Not going to lie, I had a bit of a moment at the end of series two when Matthew and Mary did not end up together (but one can hope. Series 3 is supposed to start in 1920, theres plenty of time for Mary to leave Sir Carlise and Matthew to get over Lavinia). Aside from that, it was a calm week. Thursday consisted of dinner with Melissa, her mom and bf, Allison, Cristen, Caleb and myself at this restaurant called Vietnam. It was tasty. Friday we went to a "Motherbitch of a Houseparty", and Saturday a "Smurf Party" at the Locker (still washing blue paint out of my facial hair).
More exciting news: Wednesday I am spending the day with my loves getting lost in Harrods, then Thursday I leave for 4 days in Croatia...oh the hard life.
X
